Nature's WrathHearts Desire

Welcome to the Orbarum Wiki![]

This is the place where I lay out the details of the Orbarum Campaign Setting for Pathfinder 2e. Here lore will be written up and some setting specific things such as deities or custom items or materials will be available.

From the hot wastes of deserts, to the top of active volcanoes, in the undergrowth of foreboding jungles, or the bustle of capital cities Orbarum is a world with adventure, lore and a landscape to let your player characters grow and shape things. The setting while it has established lore this is in place to as a backbone for the world to be further fleshed out by the player actions and what in part they decide is true about the world. The ongoing story is in part determined by what the players and their characters want to do and how the world around them reacts to their actions, for the better or worse of the players goals. The game will use a custom Goal Experience system due to the goal oriented way the game is going to be played.

Because of the lose way the narrative is structured when characters are first created the party should decide why they are all adventuring/working together in the first place and have their individual reasons why they are together, from their goals can be set characters have a motive to do things. This can lead to character eventually leaving the party to either retire, complete other goals that the party cant or are unwilling to help with. Once they are out of the party they should not be thought of as dead (unless they are) but acting in the background to perhaps rejoin the party or form a new one if the current one faces a TPK. Though players are usually fond of sticking with a character until they bite the dust, this is just something you can do.

Aesthetic and environment wise it is inspired on the Arabia, Northern and Central Africa, and Central America.
